Overview
Medula operates at the intersection of blockchain, finance, and physical security — offering secure cold storage for crypto investors and institutions. As part of a broader ecosystem led by Platinum Block, the product needed a high-end website that reflected trust, innovation, and simplicity. The scope included full UX architecture (sitemap, user flow), low- and high-fidelity wireframes, and Webflow development. A key feature was the interactive pricing slider, designed to give users instant feedback on plan costs based on their storage needs.
Challenge
Cold storage is a complex and technical topic, often intimidating to non-expert users. The challenge was to distill that complexity into a web experience that felt clean, secure, and easy to understand. Another challenge was delivering a refined, professional aesthetic under time pressure, while collaborating remotely with a team that was managing multiple startups in parallel.
Solution
We designed and developed a marketing site entirely in Webflow, using a custom-built component library and flexible CMS structure. Visual hierarchy, spacing and typography were carefully optimized to support content density without sacrificing clarity. The result is a modern, developer-friendly website that reflects the power of Step’s unified automation vision. Performance was also a priority — the site is lightweight, SEO-optimized and ready to scale as the product evolves.
